Key Fobs and Scanners

TouchPoint Check-In allows a person to check in with a phone number or a custom PIN. If your church uses key fobs and scanners, you can put a numeric barcode value into the PIN Extra Value on a person's record and Check-In will pull up their family when that barcode is scanned. The **Checkin** role is required to use the Check-In kiosk with key fobs and scanners.

Pre Check-In
------------

Pre Check-In is another option that allows a QR code (generated from the TouchPoint Mobile App) to be scanned at the Check-In kiosk. This is faster than a key fob because the class selection process takes place on the mobile phone, prior to scanning the code. Once the code is scanned, it automatically completes the Check-In and prints the labels.
