Check-In Labels
===============
You can use the Standard Labels that are provided for you or you can customize your labels.

You can choose the format of your Check-In labels at `Admin > Involvements > Check-In > Labels`. The options for one-inch labels are offered at the top of the screen with the options for two-inch labels below.

For each type of label (listed below), select the desired format from the drop down menu and click the `Update Active Labels` button. The selected formats will be used for all your Check-In labels system-wide.

Child labels can include a **Security Code** or **QR Code**. If enabled, at the point of Check-In a parent can choose to upload the QR code to their TouchPoint Mobile App instead of printing a QR Code label. Children who are enrolled in the class they check into will receive a Security/QR label for their parents, a Main label to wear, and as many Extra labels as are defined for the class. Children checking in as guests will receive a Security/QR label and a Location label for their parents, a Main label to wear, a Guest label for the teacher, and as many Extra labels as are defined for the class.

Label Formats
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Main (Child) Label - Security Code Options
    This is to be worn by the child. It has the child's first name in large type with the last name underneath, along with the security code (in inverse print) and the date, matching the parent's label. In the upper, center are one-letter codes (also in inverse print) for the following, when applicable: **C** = Custody Issue, **A** = Allergy, and **T** = Okay to Transport. It also lists each Involvement into which the child has checked in. If there are more Involvements than will fit on the label, an additional label will print. The following formats are available for the Main Label:

    Standard
        This format includes only the standard information mentioned in the paragraph above.

    Standard with allergy
        The Standard format plus the full allergy information displayed under the inverse code.

    Standard with subgroup

    Standard with DOB and emergency contact
        The Standard format plus the name and phone number of the emergency contact below the child's name and the child's date of birth below the security code.

    Standard with school and grade
        The Standard format plus the child's school displayed below the child's name and the grade displayed below the security code.

    Standard with birthday badge
        The Standard format plus a birthday cake icon for those with an upcoming birthday. This format is only available for 2-inch labels. It requires very precise settings. The Involvement being checked into must have a checkbox extra value named ``ShowBirthdayOnLabel`` set to `True` and the person checking in must have the status flag name ``ShowBirthdayOnLabel``.

        The Standard format plus subgroup(s) displayed to the right of each Involvement the child has checked into and the full allergy information displayed under the inverse code.

Main (Child) Label - No Security Code Options
    All of the above Standard options also have an option *without* the Security Code. When choosing a No Security Code option, you can then choose the **Parent QR Code** or the **Parent QR Code (no picture)** form the Security dropdown (See below).


Security Label
    One of these will print for each family (parents). The label will contain a three-character security code along with the date on the left and right side of the label with a line between. This gives parents the option of tearing the label in half, so both of them can retain one.

    .. tip::
        If you prefer a 4-digit security code instead of the default 3-character alphanumeric code on the Check-In label, set the `UseFourDigitCodeForCheckin` Administrative Setting to `True`.

    You can also choose the **Parent QR Code** or the **Parent QR Code (no picture)** instead of a Security Code. You will first need to choose a Main label option that says "No Security Code". The Parent will be able to decide at Check-In whether to print a physical label or add the QR code to their TouchPoint mobile app to be scanned at Check-Out by a Leader with the `Checkout` role.

Extra Label
    If the Involvement settings specify more than one child label, the second label will be the same as the Child Label, *except* that it will have the allergy, if any, fully printed and will have the text "Extra" at the bottom center of the label.

Guest Label
    This is to be given to the teacher in the classroom to be placed on the roll sheet. It will look similar to the Extra Label. However, it will have `Guest` printed on the label as well as the actual `allergy`, not just an `A`.

Location Label
    This is for the parents to keep (separate from the Security Label). There will be one label per family with a list of their children and the class name and location. If the list is too long, it will print a second label.

Name Tag
    This is the label that will print for those checking in who are over the **Child Label Cutoff Age** defined in the current kiosk profile. It will simply display the name of the person who is checking in, with no additional information.

    Standard
        This format includes only the standard information mentioned in the paragraph above.

    Standard with background check/ministry safe
        The format, in addition to the name, conditionally includes a check mark icon and/or a heart icon. This format is only available for 2-inch labels. It requires very precise settings.

        For the check mark icon to display on the label, the Involvement being checked into must have a checkbox extra value named ``backgroundcheckonlabel`` set to ``True`` and the person
        checking in must have the status flag named ``backgroundcheckonlabel``. The original purpose of this format was to indicate workers with an expired background check, but as long as the above requirements are met, you can use the check mark icon for a different purpose.

        For the heart icon to display on the label, the Involvement being checked into must have a checkbox extra value named ``ministrysafeonlabel`` set to ``True`` and the person checking
        in must have the status flag named ``ministrysafeonlabel``. The original purpose of this format was to indicate workers with an expired ministry safe certification, but as long as the above requirements are met, you can use the heart icon for a different purpose.
