Involvements with Multiple Schedules ==================================== You can assign more than one Schedule to the same Involvement. Each Schedule has not only a Day and Time associated with it, it also has something called an **Attendance Credit.** This `credit` is set based on how often you expect a member of that Involvement to attend a meeting. These features allow one Involvement to have multiple meetings throughout the week or even on the same day. If you are using TouchPoint Check-In, and you have multiple schedules on the same day for a single Involvement, it will present each meeting for the same Involvement on that same day. So a child can be checked in to one or more of the meetings. Explanation: Once per Week Group 1 & 2 There are two options for the attendance credit of Once a Week. They are Once a Week Group 1 and Once a Week Group 2. The second group is there to allow you to have two sets of meetings, both of which require you to attend one to receive 100% credit. This use case you be rare. See :ref:`Example 3 ` below. .. seealso:: :doc:`OrganizationSchedules` Example 1 --------- The Adult Choir might have the following 3 Schedules: - Sunday 9:20 AM Every Meeting - Wednesday 6:30 PM Once per Week Group 1 - Sunday 4:30 PM Once per Week Group 1 .. figure:: https://i.tpsdb.com/2016-06-30_13-41-57.png :target: # 3 Schedules - 2 Attend Credits A choir member would be expected to attend the Sunday morning **Worship Service** at 9:20 AM, so that Schedule has an Attendance Credit of **Every Meeting**. However, a choir member is only expected to attend *one* **Rehearsal** per week even though there are 2 Rehearsals scheduled. So the Rehearsal Schedules (Sun 4:30 PM; Wed 6:30 PM) have Attendance Credits of **Once per Week Group 1**. Therefore, a choir member who attends every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM and every Wednesday at 6:30 PM would have a 100% attendance, even though he did not attend at all at 4:30 PM on Sunday. Example 2 --------- A Sunday morning 2-Year-Old nursery Involvement might have the following 3 Schedules: - Sunday 8:00 AM Once per Week Group 1 - Sunday 9:20 AM Once per Week Group 1 - Sunday 11:00 AM Once per Week Group 1 .. figure:: https://i.tpsdb.com/2016-06-30_13-50-03.png :target: # 3 Schedules - Same Attend Credit In this example, the church is offering 3 hours of Sunday School every Sunday morning for 2 year old children. This allows you to enroll every 2 year old in the same Involvement and let the parents determine on a weekly basis which hour they choose to attend. This works well for churches whose families do not come at the same time each week. Notice that all 3 Schedules have the same **Attendance Credit of Once per Week Group 1.** This means that if a child comes to any one of the 3 Meetings each week, they would have a 100% attendance. .. _Example3: Example 3 --------- The choir has two rehearsals and two worship services. The **worship service**s have an Attend Credit of **Once per Week Group 1**. The **rehearsals** have an Attend Credit of **Once per Week Group 2**. In this example, the choir would have the following 4 Schedules: - Sunday 9:20 AM Once per Week Group 1 - Sunday 11:00 AM Once per Week Group 1 - Sunday 4:30 PM Once per Week Group 2 - Wednesday 6:30 PM Once per Week Group 2 .. figure:: https://i.tpsdb.com/2016-06-30_14-00-13.png :target: # 4 Schedules - Using Group 1 & 2 This means a choir member would be required to attend one worship service and one rehearsal each week to get 100% credit. It would not matter which service or rehearsal he attended. .. seealso:: :doc:`OrganizationSchedules` | | +--------------------+------------------+ | **Latest Update** | **7/20/2022** | +--------------------+------------------+ Update terminology for Involvements
