An Automated Fund Raising Email Campaign

This recipe allows you to schedule and periodically send emails to your members for a fundraising campaign at your church. The content of the emails can be customized according to the status of the individual. This status or category is related to what stage the person is in related to their giving, especially to a particular fund. The categories of this status in this recipe are determined and computed automactically based on conditions you decide. The message associated with each category or status should be written so as to motivate the person move to the next step or to encourage the person to continue with their generous giving.

The categories work as a heirarchy. Each category’s criteria is examined in order. The message an individual receives will be that associated with the first category that applies to that person.

The scripts allow you to customize almost everything about this process: from what categories you want to use, to how you define the categories, and to the content of the email to be sent to each category.
