If your church has an account with OnlineGiving.org, they offer an integration with TouchPoint. When the integration is set up, your donors can log into the OnlineGiving.org site using their TouchPoint credentials. This ensure a correct match when the record of their giving is transferred to the TouchPoint database.
To enable the integration, you will need to provide OnlineGiving with credentials for a TouchPoint account with Admin rights. After the integration is set up, they will retain these credentials in their secure vault to be used for remote support, if needed in the future. Because of this, we recommend creating a dedicated record and account for this purpose.
To get started, follow these steps.
Navigate to Admin > Advanced > Lookup Codes > Contributions > Batch Types.
Click the green Add Batch Types button.
In the New Id field, type
28and click Submit.
Click the Empty text in the Code column for Id 28.
OGand click the blue checkmark button to save.
Click the Empty text in the Description column for Id 28.
OnlineGivingand click the blue checkmark button to save.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
The URL to your TouchPoint database
The Username of the Admin account you created
The Password for the Admin account you created
