September 21, 2026 — TouchPoint Giving, Rooms & Reservations, and Email Updates

Note

This release brings the next round of TouchPoint Giving work together with a broad pass over Rooms & Reservations meetings, attendance and reservables, and several fixes to how large emails are queued, sent and reported.

Giving — TouchPoint Giving

  • New Enable use of new payment processor with TouchPoint Giving

  • New Using new processor, users can now give with Apple Pay, PayPal or Venmo

Registration Forms

  • Fix With Add Processing Fees turned on, the processing fee is now calculated so the church nets the full registration amount; previously the base portion of the fee was never included in the gross-up, leaving the church a cent or two short on every registration, on every gateway and payment method

  • Fix The registration processing fee is now calculated on an amount that includes donated add-ons, so the fee shown to the registrant matches what they are charged

  • Fix A registration paid with a newly entered card is now charged the processing fee that was quoted, and — when the registrant chooses to pay a deposit — is charged the deposit rather than the full balance

  • Fix Applying a discount code to a deposit now charges the reduced deposit; previously the screen showed the lower amount but the registrant was charged the pre-discount amount and the discount code was used up for nothing

  • Fix On the admin-assisted registration payment page, the billing details are now validated before the card or bank account is charged, so an incomplete billing address no longer produces a completed charge followed by an “Address is required.” error — and correcting the address and submitting again no longer creates a second charge

  • Fix A mission trip support page opened with a participant id in the web address now ignores an id that does not belong to that trip’s roster, instead of showing that person’s name in the page title

Rooms & Reservations — Meetings

  • New A meeting or meeting series can now be given an Alternate Contact, chosen by searching for a single person in the meeting dialog; the alternate contact’s name is also included in the Sites export

  • Fix Using Make Recurring on an existing single meeting now keeps that meeting’s own date in the new series, instead of leaving the date out and deleting the original meeting along with its attendance and reservations

  • Fix Changing a meeting’s start date now moves the end date to match every time, not just the first time, so you no longer have to correct the end date before the meeting will save

  • Fix Changing a meeting’s start date and then its start time now moves the end time along with it, keeping the meeting’s length; changing the end date or end time yourself still turns off further automatic adjustment until the dialog is closed and reopened

  • Fix Adding recurrence back to a meeting now reports reservable conflicts consistently across locations, assets and services, and no longer blocks the save over reservations left behind by occurrences that were removed earlier

  • Fix Filtering the calendar’s location view by a parent location now also shows the meetings taking place in that location’s child locations

  • Fix After resolving a conflict on the Approvals page by replacing a room, the replacement room now appears under the meeting while a status filter such as Pending is applied, instead of the meeting showing with no location at all

  • Fix The Add assets and Add services search boxes on a meeting’s Location panel now find a match regardless of capitalization; previously a search containing a capital letter never matched, which left any asset or service past the first twenty unreachable

  • Fix Meetings added on the Meetings tab of a ticketed involvement now create the seating event they need, so the ticket page lists the event dates and loads the seat map, instead of reporting “Registration is closed” or doing nothing when a date is chosen

  • Change The calendar, the meetings and meeting series grids, the approvals pages, the assets and services grid, the conflict replacement picker and the calendar Excel export all load noticeably faster

Check-In and Attendance

  • Fix Attendance percentages on Rooms & Reservations involvements now reflect absences instead of staying at 100%; an absent record is created for every enrolled member when a meeting is created, and the Add Absents to Meeting option on the meeting’s gear menu now works on these involvements

  • Fix The Meeting Detail page and the mobile app now use the involvement’s Rollsheet Guest Weeks setting to decide which guests appear on a meeting’s roll, measured against that meeting’s date, instead of listing everyone who had visited in the previous 180 days; opening a past meeting now shows the guests who qualified as of that meeting

  • Fix A guest who has been added as a Prospect is no longer listed on the Meeting Detail page’s guest roll

  • Fix Marking someone present on the Meeting Detail page when they are already marked present at another meeting at the same time now shows the explanation, instead of reporting “Meeting Saved” and then quietly clearing the checkbox

  • Fix New guest, repeat guest and visiting guest counts on a meeting’s attendance summary now update as attendance is taken, rather than only after the page is refreshed

  • Change Rollsheet Guest Weeks (Involvement → Settings → Attendance) no longer accepts a negative number; the save is rejected with a message and the previous value is kept

Involvements

  • Fix On Promotion Management (Admin → Involvements → Promotion), the Schedule and Target Class dropdowns now work for involvements scheduled with meeting series; previously Schedule offered only “None” and Target Class was empty, which blocked the annual promotion process on any database using the newer scheduler

Email

  • Fix A scheduled or queued email is no longer delayed by up to an hour when email processing is interrupted — by a deployment, for example; the job no longer stays locked until its timeout expires, which had held up every later email on that database

  • Fix Very large email sends no longer fail partway through with an out-of-memory error

  • Fix The “sent emails” notice returned to the sender after a mass email now reports the total number of emails delivered for the whole send, instead of counting only those delivered after a send was interrupted and resumed

  • Fix The Email Details page (Admin → Communication → Emails) now opens for every email, instead of failing with a “Ticks must be between DateTime.MinValue.Ticks and DateTime.MaxValue.Ticks” error — which had made the subject, body, recipient list and open/fail statistics unreachable — on emails whose sent time falls before their start time
