Family Has Notes¶

This Condition, located on the Tasks and Notes category tab in Search Builder, when used by itself with Equal True, will return everyone in the family in which there is any member who has a Note. When used with the Equal False option, it returns all family members where no family member has a Note.

Of course, you can combine it with IsHeadOfHousehold to get only the head of each family.

Use Case

You can search for recent guests and then add this Condition set to false to find families that have never had a Note recorded about them by the church.

Or search for those without an attendance in a Life Group for the past and don’t have any Notes.

Tip

If you want to do other searches, such as children (using an Age Condition) who are in a family where there are no Notes, you may want to add the Parents Of option.
