Non-Tax-Deductible Amount Donor Only¶
This Condition located on the Contribution category tab in Search Builder will find people based on how much they have contributed as a non-tax-deductible contribution to a specific fund during a specified date range.
This condition will find donors only and will not include jointly-giving spouses. If you need to include spouses, use the condition Non-Tax-Deductible Amount Both Joint.
You can, but do not have to, specify a Fund. You will need to specify a dollar amount and the number of days to look back.
Note
You must have Finance role in order to use this condition.
Use Case
If you have donors that give to your church through a foundation, you can record those gifts on the individual’s record as non-tax-deductible and this search Condition will help you find those who give this way. They may not show up in normal searches if all of their giving is done via a foundation.
Tip
You might want to look at the companion Condition that looks back a number of days. You can use that Condition and save it, if you like to look at non-tax-deductible contributions on a regular basis. With that Condition, you do not need to change anything before running it, since it does not use a date range.
