If a husband and wife give jointly, this condition will only return the head of household, even if the spouse gave too. We still track individual giving, but for statement purposes and this search, we only show a single person of the joint pair. And that person will be the HOH.

We have another Condition - Recent Giver to accomplish the case in which you want both husband and wife in the search results for a Joint giving unit even if the spouse did not write any of the checks. In other words, the spouse will not have contributions posted to his/her name, only to their spouse’s.
