Registration Form - Settings & Fees =================================== After you have created the Registration Form Involvement, you will need to configure the Settings & Fees for your registration. Settings -------- Navigate to the `Registration > Settings & Fees` tab and configure the options as needed for your form in the `Settings` section. This is the list of available settings and what they do. * **Registration Title** - If you would like something other than the name of the Involvement to display on the registration form, enter that title in this field. Example: * Involvement Title = ``Cambodia Mission Trip`` * Registration Title = ``Cambodia 2024`` * **Start Date, End Date** - Select from each calendar box the date and time you want online registration to be available. People will be able to register only between those dates/times. The registrant will see a message that Registration is not available if they are trying to register during a time outside these dates. .. caution:: If the start date will be a future date, do not set it until after you finish testing your registration. Otherwise, you will see a message that registration is not available. * **Registration Closed** - Check this box once online registration has ended. If your registration link is posted on a public website, anyone clicking on the link to register will see a message that registration has ended. * **Redirect URL** - Redirects this registration page to the entered URL. You only need to enter part of the URL after https://church.tpsdb.com, so an example would be ``/Give/makeagift?type=monthly``. This will only work if the registration is closed. * **Access Code** - You can set an access code to supply a person to register while keeping the registration closed. This way only someone with the code will be able to register. * **Submission Type** * **One per person** - This setting allows a person to only enroll once. It does not mean that it only allows one person to register. You can still register your family members. You just cannot register yourself again. * **Multiple** - This setting will allow a person to re-register. A use case of this would be a Wednesday Night Meal purchase where the person would register each week. Also, when you select **Multiple**, the **Registration Limit** and **Max Fee** options are unavailable. * **Registration Limit** - Enter the maximum number of people you want to allow to register. Once the limit is reached, the **Closed Message** will display when someone tries to register. You can set the **Closed Message** on the `Messages` tab. * **Page Shell** - This defaults to **None**, which will just display the form with a light gray background around it. To use an HTML Shell, select the name of the shell (created and stored in Special Content). In order for a shell to display in the drop down list, the HTML file must have a keyword of “Shell”. .. seealso:: :doc:`/OnlineRegistration/StandardShells` * **Sign In** * **Optional** - This will allow registrants to sign in to register, but it is not required. This is the default setting. * **Hidden** - This will not allow registrants to sign in to register. * **Required** - This will require registrants to sign in in order to register. This will also display three additional options. * **Require Member Status** (only available if you require sign in) - The registrant must have this Church Member Status in order to register. * **Require in Involvement** (only available if you require sign in) - The registrant must be in this Involvement in order to register. * **Block in Involvement** (only available if you require sign in) - This will not allow a person in this Involvement to register. * **Timeout (minutes)** (optional) - By default, registrations time out after 3 minutes of no keystrokes. Enter a number to increase the length of time for this registration, if necessary. This can also be set for all registrations with the `Reg Timeout` admin setting (`Admin > Advanced > Settings > Features > Registrations`). * **Join As** - By default this will be set to *Member*, meaning anyone that registers will be added as a Member of the Involvement. You can change this to *Prospect*, meaning that anyone that registers will be added as a Prospect of the Involvement. Advanced Settings ----------------- The Advanced section offers two additional, optional settings. * **Allowed Embed Sources** - Specifies a list of URLs for websites that can embed this registration (e.g. https://www.example.com). This overrides the global setting. * **OnEnroll Python Script** - This is the name of a scripe in Special Content > Python Scripts that will be run when someone is enrolled during a registration. Additional Settings ------------------- Navigate to the `Settings > General` tab if you want to use the following settings in the `Validation` section. * **Gender** - If a gender is specified, only a registrant with a gender that matches the selection will be able to register. * **Birthday Start** - If a date is specified, only a registrant with a date of birth on or after that date will be able to register. * **Birthday End** - If a date is specified, only a registrant with a date of birth on or before that date will be able to register. Fees ---- Navigate to the `Registration > Settings & Fees` tab and configure the options as needed for your form in the `Fees` section. * **Fee Type** * **Non-contribution** - This is the default. * **Tax Deductible** - This can only be changed by a person with a `Finance` role. Once selected, the **Account Code** selection will change to a **Fund Selection** and all other settings will be unavailable, except for **No Credit Cards**. Use cases for this option are Easter Lillies, Pew Donations, etc. * **Account Code** - This will be shown when the **Fee Type** is *Non-Contribution*. Select the appropriate Account Code for any fees to be attributed to. .. seealso:: :doc:`/Administration/Lookup_Index` * **Fund** - This will be shown when the **Fee Type** is *Tax deductible*. Choose the appropriate Fund for these Fees to be attributed to. All other settings in the Fee area will be unavailable, except for **No Credit Cards**. .. seealso:: :doc:`/Finance/Fund_Index` * **Per Person Fee** - Enter the dollar amount of the base fee. You can charge fees solely based on options that are selected within the `Questions` Tab, without putting a fee in this setting. * **Fee Increase/Decrease** - Add a positive number to increase the fee or a negative number to reduce the fee. * **Fee Change Date** - If you have added a **Fee Increase/Decrease**, you will be required to enter a date that you want the **Fee Increase/Decrease** to expire. * **Max Fee** - Enter a dollar amount if you want to set a maximum amount that will be paid during that registration for all registrants registering at the same time. * **Apply max to other fees** - Check this box if you want the total fees charged to registrants registering at the same time not to exceed the **Max Fee**, regardless of any extra fees (for shirts or any fee associated with a checkbox, etc.). Leave the box unchecked to have those other fees added on top of the **Max Fee**. * **Deposit Amount** - Entering an amount in this field allows the registrant the option to either pay in full or pay a deposit. If you allow for paying a deposit, you must add the ``{paylink}`` email replacement code in the confirmation email so the registrant has a link to return and make subsequent payments. This is the text that will replace the paylink code in a confirmation: ``Click this link to make a payment and view your balance.`` When you allow a deposit, the registrant can make as many additional payments as they want until paid in full. They will be presented with the full payment in a text box and they can change that to whatever they want as a payment. It is like an installment payment. * **Add Processing Fees** - Check this box to add processing fess to the total. This amount will adjust based on their payment method. * **Allow Discount Codes** - Check this box to allow the use of discount codes for this registration. This will allow the registrant to enter and apply a discount code. .. seealso:: :doc:`/OnlineRegistration/Coupon_Index` * **No Credit Cards** - Check this box if you do not want to allow credit card payments. * **Involvement Discount** - When selected, you can adjust the per-person fee, positive or negative, for any registrant that is also in the Involvement you choose. This discount will not apply to fees on questions.
