Using a Custom Header

The default header that is used is the TouchPoint logo. Depending on the size of your screen or device, you may see simply the logo or the logo with text. Both of these images are customizable with your own images.

Logo Requirements

General Requirements:

  • Your logo should be a png or gif with a transparent background or it could be a jpg with a background that is exactly the same color as the header’s background.

  • It should come from a secure location. If you are using our servers to upload your image it will be secure by default. If not, the URL should start with https://

Size Requirements:

  • The standard header logo should be 240 pixels wide by 45 pixels tall.

  • The smaller header logo should be 45 pixels wide by 45 pixels tall.

Custom Header Settings

To replace the standard header image:

Go to Admin > Advanced > Settings > System > Administration. Find the Setting named UX- Header Logo. The setting’s value should be the URL to the image you wish to use. Example: https://path/to/header-logo.png

To replace the standard smaller header image:

Go to Admin > Advanced > Settings > System > Administration. Find the Setting named UX- Small Header Logo. The setting’s value should be the URL to the smaller image you wish to use. Example: https://path/to/small-header-logo.png

Note

If you previously customized your header with a CustomHeader setting, the system still respects this for the normal logo view. However, there is not a reliable way to get a small logo, so we still display the small TouchPoint logo in this case.

If you use the UX-HeaderLogo setting, it will take precedence over the CustomHeader setting. We recommend that you do so.
