Task Assigned With Details¶

This Condition, located on the Tasks and Notes category tab in Search Builder, allows you to find people who have a Task assigned to them, based on the details of the Task.

This is the “assigned” counterpart to the Task About With Details Condition: rather than returning the person the Task concerns, it returns the person the Task is assigned to.

How to Use It¶

Enter all or part of the Task Details in the value field, or leave it blank to match any Task. You may also select one or more Task Status options from the Codes list to limit the results to Tasks in those statuses; leave the status list empty to include all statuses.

Use Case

To find those with an incomplete Task assigned to them, select Equal for the Comparison, enter part of the Task Details in the value field, and select Pending from the Task Status list. The result is every person who is assigned a matching, incomplete Task.

Note

You do not want to select Not Equal, because that will find everyone who does not have an incomplete Task assigned to them, not just those with an incomplete Task that is not named whatever you typed as the Value.
